Willow Garden Obelisk Workshop

Saturday 25th April 2026
1.30–4.30pm
£55
Bunbury nr Tarporley
We will create a rustic willow and hazel obelisk that can be used in your garden to support plants.
We will use a mixture of willow weaving and twining techniques so that you can learn to adapt your future obelisk designs according to the size and style that you require.
FURTHER INFORMATION
The WILLOW GARDEN OBELISK workshop will take place in the garden if the weather is good, and otherwise in the workshop. Please bring a waterproof coat that won’t get snagged by the willow, and wrap up warm. Please wear sturdy shoes or boots.
Tea, coffee and cold drinks will be supplied with a selection of biscuits.
The course will start at 1.30pm but if you would like a drink first you are welcome to arrive from 1pm.
Experience level: beginner.
Please note the willow work needs quite strong hands. You will need to be reasonably dexterous. Work will include the use of secateurs (provided).
